We have assembled an outstanding team of seasoned, experienced bankers and loan officers. From our branch managers and commercial lending officers to our executive management team. Together they apply their diverse backgrounds, wealth of knowledge and extensive skills to provide the best banking experience for our customers. Our executive team is comprised of individuals who are not only capable bankers but are also active citizens in their communities. Our team includes:

John S. Kreighbaum, President & Chief Executive Officer, possesses over twenty-five successful years as a bank CEO/President. He assumed his first President position at the age of 29. John is skilled in all facets of successful operating performance for the financial services industry. In addition, he brings a unique ‘real-world’ perspective and seasoned expertise as a bank executive. His philosophy interfaces with the time-honored values of integrity and hard work, with attention to details and the highest levels of professionalism.

Kendall Stewart, Chief Financial Officer, has served in many capacities associated with community banking. With over 25 years experience, he has a wealth of knowledge and multifaceted background in finance, lending, operations, and information technology. Mr Stewart is involved in a myriad of community activities.    

As Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, Tripp Gabriel serves as the Bank’s Senior Credit Officer. He is also a Charlotte native with deep roots in the community. Tripp began his banking career over twenty-three years ago in community banking, and has built a strong background in credit services and real estate. He is very involved in the community as well as the Boy Scouts of America.

Caryn Johnson, Chief Operating Officer, began her banking career over twenty-eight years ago. She has extensive expertise in various bank operations, including Deposit Operations and Compliance as well as Branch Administration, which she oversees at Carolina Premier Bank. Every day Caryn exhibits a true commitment to service and professionalism. She is also very involved in civic activities.

C. Hunter Widener, Chief Banking Officer,  has been a part of the Charlotte financial industry his entire career specifically in the areas of client acquisition and development. He also has an extensive background in the area of Wealth Management.  Hunter is an active member of many community focused organizations in the Charlotte area.
